On Sunday, we made a short work day out of taking down the Enduracne Ten out at Blood Falls. Apparently the USAP is trying to phase out these tents, most likely to ward off the unwanted associations with the circus; however, some say it's going to take more than new tents.

The picture at the bottom is of the full crew (from the left) with: Nick, Geo, Birdhouse, Sean and myself. The falls in the background are thought to be a remnant of an ancient saltwater environment that was covered over and frozen by the advancing ice field. They were first spotted in 1911 by geologist Griffith Taylor, after whom the valley and glacier would soon be named; however, were much further up the glacier. Exposed on the face, the falls are currently melting away into the lake, so you'd better hurry up if you want a first hand look.
