A truly magnificent day in New Zealand. Our flight to McMurdo was delayed yet another day so I found myself at the coast in a little town called Sumner. This photo was shot from a beautiful trail along the coast which I hiked for an hour or so. I would have gone further but the surf looked delicious so I trotted back down, rented a board and spent a few hours in the waves. Brilliant!
